Refund policy
Sales are final. Here is why we can say that honestly, and the cases where it does not apply.
The position
SpamSpike is a digital product with immediate access. Once you sign in, the analysis engine runs against your own data and produces the thing you paid for. There is no meaningful way to return it, so sales are final.
Which is why the proof comes first
We publish two full investigations, free and without a signup — complete Gmail complaint windows worked end to end on northstargoods.com, our worked example, with the reasoning behind every conclusion and the limits stated. There is also a worked example incident, which uses sample data to show the report format. Together they are the same output a licence produces. The intended order is: read them, decide it is worth $189, then pay. A no-refund policy is only fair when you could judge the product before buying, and that is the whole reason those pages exist.
Consumers in the EU, UK and EEA
If you buy as a consumer rather than for a business, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content that right ends once supply begins, provided you expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged losing the right of withdrawal. Ticking the terms box at checkout is that consent, and it is why the box is required rather than optional.
If you have not yet signed in and used the product, write to us within 14 days and we will refund you. We would rather return the money than hold someone to a technicality they did not understand.
Where we refund anyway
- Duplicate purchase. Two licences bought by accident for the same Klaviyo account — we refund one.
- It cannot work for you. If Google Postmaster reports nothing for your domain because your Gmail volume is below Google’s reporting floor (roughly 5,000 messages a day), the product cannot do its job. Tell us within 30 days and we refund in full.
- We discontinue it early. If SpamSpike shuts down within 12 months of your purchase, we refund in full, as set out in the terms.
- We charged you wrong. Any billing error, without argument.
How to ask
Email us from the address that bought the licence and say what happened. Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method, usually within five business days of us agreeing.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, ask us first — we will almost certainly just fix it. A chargeback raised without contacting us costs both sides more than the licence and ends with the same conversation.
